Olivia Elswood is tall, lanky, and utterly bought into whatever propaganda she's been fed. She holds a strong belief in doing her best for other people, extremely at the detriment of her own health.
In her original setting, she was sent by the Kingdom of Kindness to fight in various magical girl themed adventures. Technically speaking, the Princess of Kindness (Olivia Alswood/"Evilia") was supposed to be sent off to fight various monsters for the Kingdom, but both the King and the Princess decided they straight up didn't want to do that. Thus, the closest approximate was selected and Olivia Elswood was sent to the magical girl frontlines. Even upon learning that the monsters are manifested by the Kingdom itself, she's willing to accept fault until she sees how these monsters hurt other people.
In most AUs, this manifests in a few other ways, but the broad details are the same. Olivia working for a royal family, Olivia is mistreated, Olivia is willing to take on the blame until she sees it hurt someone else.
Self-sacrificing to the point of parody, its genuinely difficult for her to work up any feelings of defense for herself. Her fixation on her country's ideas of Kindness and Honor (whether in the Regalia setting or not), is often an active harm to herself and sometimes at least a little unsettling to others. The sort of person who would call up every person in the phone book until she finds the person she wanted to apologize to for a perceived slight.
She also really likes competitive sports, even if she doesn't understand them much. Her self-sacrificing nature makes it difficult for her to be properly aggressive on the field, which only adds to her growing frustration with the disconnect over how she's been taught vs how it applies to others.
Ultimately, Olivia finds it easier to break ties with the status quo when she sees how it hurts other people, rather than how it hurts herself.
